Q: What type of ordering methods and payment types are accepted?

A: Currently, Cal Tees/GuyHarveyShirts.Com accepts only Internet orders via its web site. No phone, mail or other ordering methods are accepted. Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and PayPal are accepted for payment of orders.

Q. Why should I create an account to make my purchases?

A. When you create an account, you create the ability of our full-service shopping cart to send direct messages to you, and vice versa. Also, you are able to initiate an online Return Authorization request when you have an account. There is no additional information to provide, it just gets retained for future use including as indicated above, and to expedite future orders. Please refer to our Privacy Policy.

Account creation is mandatory on our site - there is no "Guest Checkout" allowed. It is important that you properly input your email address when creating your account, and that you remember which email account and password you used. In many cases, when a customer can't log into their account, it is because of a forgotten or mis-spelled email address.

1. Click on 3-Bar Menu (on left side).

2. Scroll Down to the bottom of the product lists.

3. Click Create an Account and enter pertinent information.

To complete the order, you must create an account. Guest checkout is NOT Allowed. If you attempt to order without creating an account first, that order ends up in Abandoned/Incomplete orders, and will NOT be processed. If you wish to continue with the purchase, go to the email you will receive informing you to "Complete your purchase", click on the link Complete Your Order and follow the instructions presented. If you attempt to create an account using any another method, the email address you provided in the initial order will fail since the system sees it as being already used.

Credit Card Declines 

Please make sure to enter the correct billing address associated with the card being used. Do not put ANY extra characters, such at "." "," "-" etc. Make sure the billing address is exactly as it is on your account statement. Example, if your billing address is PO Box 999, do NOT type in P.O. Box 999 or POB 999 or P.O.B. 999. Instead, type PO Box 999 EXACTLY as it is shown on the statement. 

Be advised that declined transaction due to a billing address mismatch (AVS Mismatch) can never be transacted by the merchant. Please contact the bank to make the necessary adjustments. It is possible for your bank to issue a pre-authorization, while at the same time, our merchant services provider declines the transaction for AVS mismatch or other reason. 


Q. How can I verify the email address used to create my account?

A. Call us at 714 828 4605 and we will look up your account details using your name or Order # if available, and tell you what email address, including exact spelling, is on your account. You can then use that email address, exactly as spelled on your account, to login into your account. You can then edit or update your email address as necessary. Alternately, you can email stating that you need your account email address looked up, and we will email you back with the exactly address used.

Q: How do I reset my password if I forget it?

A: On the home page of, click on the "Sign In or Create Account" link in the upper right-hand corner. Then click on the "Forgot your Password" link on the sign-in page. An email will be sent to you with instructions therein. Click on the link (in blue) on the second line, and you will be taken to a page that allows you to set a new password. Merely type and then re-type your new password.

Q: How long will it take to ship my order?

A: Most orders will be processed and shipped within 48 business hours, Monday through Saturday.

Q: What shipping carriers and delivery methods does Cal Tees offer?

A: All orders are shipped via US Postal Service (USPS) Priority Mail.

Orders shipping within the United States
Priority Mail Service : Cal Tees will process your order so that all in-stock merchandise will be delivered 2-5 business days (not guaranteed) after departure from our facility.

Orders shipping outside the United States
Please note that Cal Tees is not responsible for any Customs's Duties imposed by the destination country, or delays due to Customs inspection.

Shipping Method, USPS International Priority Mail: 

Once shipped from our facility, orders delivered via USPS International Priority Mail are subject to the postal authorities in the destination countries, and their delivery schedules.

Q. What are your shipping policies?

A. All orders will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail. Special Instructions requesting shipping via services other than USPS will not be followed. 

Shipments will be sent Signature Required when shipping and billing addresses differ, when shipping to a multi-unit dwelling (apartment, townhouse, condo, & campus addresses). When shipping to a third party, please advise recipient that it will be shipped Signature Required, and if not present at time of delivery, shipment can be picked up at Post Office or arrange for non-signature delivery by using the Postal Service Notice left by Postal Carrier. Please advise them of tracking number so they can track package at website.

Cal Tees/ is not responsible for the shipment once it has been delivered, as evidenced by Post Office delivery scan data.

Q. How do I know when my order is shipped, and how do I track it?

A. Upon shipment, your order status will be updated to "Shipped", and an email will be sent to you informing you that your order was shipped. The confirmation email informing you that your order has SHIPPED, will also include the USPS tracking number. Your shipment can be tracked via the USPS website at

Q. How do we communicate about order issues (Verification Required, Out of Stock conditions etc).

A. Our shopping cart employs a direct messaging system that enables communication between both buyer and seller. When a new message is posted to your account, you will get a notice via email letting you know you have a message, and providing a clickable link to enable you to view/respond (to) that message. If you need to respond to the message, please do so at that page, not by directly responding to the message notification email. That keeps all messages conveniently located and easily accessible 24/7.

Q. What are your return policies?

A. You may return merchantable items within 30 days of delivery for Refund of merchandise costs. All returns must be preceded by an online return authorization (RA #). We don't issue call tag or pay for returned shipping.

Returns without Return Authorization will not be accepted. All Returns MUST be in fully-merchantable conditions. Shipping fees are non-refundable. Please read our Terms & Conditions.

Q: How to complete an online Return Authorization (RA #)?

A: Follow the below steps.

    1. Log in to your account.

    2. Under My Account, go to Completed Orders, then click Return Item(s).

    3. Fill out the following fields for the item(s) to be returned:

  • Quantity to return
  • Return action

     4. Click Submit Return Request.

The Return Authorization (RA #) is the system-generated number assigned to your Return Request, and is provided to you upon submission of your Return Request via Confirmation email.

Return merchantable item to Cal Tees, 10928 Portal Drive, Los Alamitos, CA  90720 with a copy of your Packing Slip. Please write your RA # on the outside of your packaging.

Q. Can I return merchandise purchased at other retailers with you? 

A. No, we only take returns on merchandise purchased from GuyHarveyShirts.Com.

Q. What are your Gift Exchange policies?

A. Contact us via email to to verify that we are able to accept your return. Please include the name of the original purchaser or Order # if known. We cannot effect gift exchange for merchandise purchased at other sites, stores, etc.

Q: What are Cal Tees back order policies? 

A: Since the licensee for Guy Harvey apparel will be changing in mid-2019, restocks are no longer available, so we will not be doing any backorders. If an items is Sold Out/Discontinued, we will attempt to find you a substitute, or cancel that item from the order at the customer's option.

Q: What if damages are incurred while using products sold by Cal Tees/GuyHarveyShirts.Com?

A: Not having control over the use of the products in this site, we assume no liability connected with their use. Under no circumstances are we liable for any loss, damage, or expenses of any kind arising out of the use or inability to use these products.

Q. What type of shirts are used to print Guy Harvey T-Shirts? 

A. The traditional back-printed, pocket Men's T-shirt is printed on a privately-labeled Hanes Beefy Tee. The Boy's T-shirts are also printed on Hanes blanks. Sizing is Industry Standard – Refer to our Sizing Chart for details.

Q. Are you owned by Guy Harvey? 

A. No, we are an independent retailer of Guy Harvey licensed merchandise, and have been since 1996. While we cooperate with Guy on certain projects, such as hosting him at SoCal fishing shows, we are independently owned & operated. 

Q. Do you produce the merchandise you sell? 

A. No, we are a retailer of merchandise produced by various Guy Harvey licensees.

Q. Do you have a brick and mortar store? 

A. No, we are an Internet-based retailer with only limited fishing show-based face-to-face transaction.

Q. How can I be assured you are a reputable business and will deliver the ordered merchandise?

We have been a retailer of Guy Harvey licensed merchandise since 1996, and our principals have personally know Dr. Harvey since that time. 

Q. Can I use your website with a mobile device.

A. Yes, our website automatically detects your device-type and presents you with one of two version (full size or mobile). If you are using a mobile device with a large screen, however, you may switch to Full View by scrolling to bottom of page and following the link there. Once at the Full View version of the site, you can switch back to the Mobile view by clicking on the Mobile Site link on the bottom of the Main page. We recommend using the Full View Versions for mid-sized and larger Tablets.
